I will be giving a lecture on John Oswald’s "Plunderphonics, or Audio Piracy as Compositional Prerogative”, looking at its legacy 40 years later and reflect on Plunderphonics in a world of sampling, remix, and meme culture.

SPLICE Festival will include five concerts, along with presentations and hands-on workshop sessions. Concerts will feature performances selected from submitted works and a curated concert by the SPLICE Ensemble. Presentations and workshops will serve Western Michigan students and festival attendees.
